Christmas was bitter sweet this year with the passing of my grandma, but it brought such fun memories of her and this holiday. it was her favorite and she always celebrated it in a grand way with a huge village, gorgeous tree, and decorations galore. she spent days putting each item in its precise place and took such joy at seeing her grandchildren eyes light up as she showed them each little trinket and new addition to her collection. we could all spend hours looking at her village. as i look at our tree and my small village this and years to come, i will always think of grandma larson and the twinkle in her eye at Christmas time.
Christmas Eve: we each got to open just one present tonight and surprise...we all got new pajamas! :) then we had fun skyping with johns family. we took turns opening each others presents and were able to see everyone's smiles. such a fun way to get to spend Christmas with them!
Christmas morning: just like the previous 13 years i had to wake tanaya at 8:00am to let her know santa had come. wake up pretty girl...

mom SUPER SUPER excited!!!! NEIL DIAMOND tickets!!! john and tanaya took such joy keeping this a secret from me. they taunted me for weeks about the present i was getting, saying i would never guess what it was. i SO love the big meanies!
family SUPER excited to hear a baby is on its way! we made the announcement to johns family last night and they were SUPER excited to! it was such an awesome day! MERRY CHRISTMAS!
