park city night

we took a spur of the moment trip up to park city to get out of the inversion and tanaya invited emma to come with us.  we ate pizza, spent the night at a hotel, swam & soaked in the hot tub, and went shopping at the outlet malls.  it felt so good to breath fresh, clean, air and it was fun to get away for a night too.

the older tanaya gets the less we seem to see of her. and when we do see her, this is usually what she look like. her head is down with her phone or ipod in her hand, texting or listening to music.

when i miss her too much i take the risk and venture into her room filled with land mines and booby traps and this is usually what i find.  a sleeping beauty. when i find her sleeping i take full advantage and cuddle up to get a really good hug.  this is the only way i can get a hug without her fighting me away.

date night

john took me on a date! our first date since caiman was born - five months ago.  we went ice skating, drank hot chocolate, walked around down town slc, and ate amazing sushi.  the first sushi i was allowed to eat since i was pregnant. john was so thoughtful and planned an amazing night. it was just the two of us and we had so much fun holding hands, talking, and being silly. i love you sexy man

tanaya is infatuated with spiderman and bought caiman his shirt for chirstmas. i'm not sure who loves who more. they pretty much think each other rules the world.
