wisdom teeth & 2nd year molars ya gotta go!

tanaya has had more done to her mouth then anyone should and hopefully this is the end of it. at a regular dentist check up it was discovered that there was no room for her 2nd year molars to come in.
we were faced with two decisions: the first being have them pulled, which would leave her without her 2nd year molers that she might need later in life or second, let them come in, get braces again, and most likely have to have them pulled anyway. after much discussion and consulting with her dentist, orthodontist, surgeon, and weighing the odds, we decided it was best to have them pulled.

and while they were pulling we decided they might as well remove her wisdom teeth so she didn't need to have surgery again in a couple years to remove them.

the poor girl. when i went back to the recovery room to get her it took everything i had not to laugh. her and another girl were so drugged they were sitting right across from each other staring at each other like deer in headlights not saying a word.

the car ride home was not so fun. she had ice wrapped around her head and used caimans blanket as a pillow
in all she had EIGHT teeth pulled
caiman stayed by tanaya's side making sure she was okay and even took a nap with her
she started throwing up we soon realized her stomach doesn't tolerate loratab or hydrocodone, so we called the doctor and he gave her ibuprofen instead
she had lots of loved ones bring her get well cards and treats, but it was still hard to get comfortable
her mouth and head hurt from having teeth pulled, her stomach hurt from throwing up and not being able to eat, but she was still able, bless her heart, to keep her phone at arms reach :)
