dad visit

dad came to visit hoping there would be a new little one to hold.  we were hopeful when i started cramping Sunday morning, but they only lasted a couple hours before they went completely away

 so instead of having a baby we put on our walking shoes and had fun walking around salt lake city and visiting with each other

neil diamond concert

The little one stayed put so Momma could enjoy her Christmas present and have a chance of her dream coming true...Neil Diamond delivery our baby :)

I was SO excited and we had to BEST seats just to the right of the stage.  My family LOVES me!

Thanks John and Tanaya for such an AMAZING concert and thanks little one for staying put - some dreams are best left at that...dreams :) 

cabin

grandma beverly's friend has a cabin on the north fork of the duschene river and shes let us borrow it the last couple years for a macfarlane family getaway.  it is so pretty and peaceful and we love it.

throughout the week they worked together sneaking in bedrooms at night and crawling under tables until they had painted all the boys nails. it took some of them days to realize their nails were painted - at which point tanaya and bailey ran for their lives. don't they look innocent :)

at 38 weeks pregnant and talk of my doctor wanting to inducing me we thought we'd take a 5 mile hike at 10,000 feet and try to jump start things :)

we made it to the top just in time for the rain to start

soaking wet, and with major cramping, we made it back down...without a baby. ha!

nayma night

tanaya and i enjoyed an amazing spa night and treated ourselves to pedicures.  aahhhh feels SO nice!

these three awesome girls got all dressed up in their 'batman' attire and went to the midnight showing of the new batman movie 'the dark night rises'.  emma & olivia loved it, tanaya hated it - she's since professed her love to spiderman

IWS baby shower

my work, 'intermountain wind and solar', had a baby shower for me which was pretty amazing since i work with a bunch of guys.  they tried their best and went all out by making me a 'diaper cake'!  each diaper was individually 'wired' into a roll then taped or wired together with electrical tape to form various sized circles which were placed upon a piece of wood they took off one of the turbines in the warehouse.  they said it took hours to put together and i believe them, since it took me hours to take apart!

it was about as girly as they could bring themselves to do.  i loved it!

utah baby shower

when my family planned this shower it seemed SO far away.  i can't believe the date has arrived and this baby is going to be here soon...its crazy cool!

my amazing family who took time out of their lives, time off work, and even left a family outing to throw this shower for me: bailey, carrie, mom, chandie, tanaya

they made it SO fun and decorated SO cute.  these adorable paper balloons and streamers were hung throughout the house. the food was delicious and displayed so cute

janet - who made me a special shortbread in the shape of a baby carriage. she's such a cutie

the shower was open house style which was great for those that were only able to stop by for a minute and those that could spend time visiting.  i saw so many family and friends that i haven't seen for years. it was a very cool day
